FIELD GUIDE

Home Sweet Home: escape the loop or stay for the ending

After completing the dream once, inspect the well beside the second group of spectres on your next loop. The escape continues through the church memory in the order Alin, Esme, then Coen. Staying through repeated complete loops instead leads to Together Forever.

Save before opening the top-floor tower door

Look in The Silts at the southwest edge of the map. PowerPyx places the start at the top interior door of Silts Tower; other guides call it Aurelius’s Tower. Climb through the tower and inspect that door. The recorded entry costs 4 time segments.

Keep a manual save before entering. The dream replaces your ordinary equipment with much weaker gear, and repeated fights can be demanding. Method recommends checking your equipped damage abilities and searching containers for food within the dream; do not plan around your normal inventory being available.

Complete one loop, then inspect the well

  1. Follow the family-rescue sequence through its two spectre groups and the flying nightmare boss.
  2. When the dream starts over, follow the route to the second group again.
  3. After rescuing the siblings there, turn toward the well instead of continuing uphill to the father.
  4. Use Focus and inspect the well. The reflection opens a different route through the memory.

The repetition after the first boss is intentional. PC Gamer confirms that the well becomes usable after one complete dream sequence; replaying the same boss route without investigating it keeps the loop going.

Use the church memory in this order

Follow the newly opened route and portal into the church. During the sermon, inspect Alin in the coffin → Esme on the right → young Coen on the left.

PowerPyx and PC Gamer agree on that order. After the final interaction, continue through the opened way, follow the boy, inspect the red-glowing tree stump in the meadow, and use the claw descent toward the river. Finish the conversation to return to the tower.

Keep the Together Forever save separate

To see Together Forever, ignore the well on that attempt. PowerPyx counts four complete cycles, including four boss defeats, then the family conversation at the start of the fifth.

To see the ending and then escape safely from a known checkpoint, keep the manual save made before entering the tower’s dream door:

  1. After the ending, load that pre-entry save and open the top-floor door again. The 4-segment entry is part of this replayed branch.
  2. Complete the first dream sequence, including both spectre groups and the nightmare boss.
  3. On the next loop, rescue the siblings at the second group. Before continuing uphill to the father, turn to the well and inspect it with Focus.
  4. Continue with the church sequence: Alin, Esme, then Coen.

This repeats the established route from its entrance. It does not depend on backtracking from a fourth-boss autosave whose return path is not documented here.

Return to the world and check the tower enemy’s loot

After the escape, defeat the enemy that appears and inspect its loot. PowerPyx lists the legendary Astrologer’s Ring as the escape reward. Merely reaching the secret ending is a different result; the ring check belongs to the return-to-world branch.

If you leave the dream without the ring, check whether you have finished that last encounter and looted the body before leaving the tower.
