Three Witchcraft vendors with an access condition
- Vera: look between Briar Sloughs and Maragir Wealds, in front of her woodland house. The recorded shop is available by day.
- Vicho: southwest of Market Tower in Svartrau. Complete the first part of A Study in Crimson to open his vendor service.
- Matriarch: Hidden Uriash Village northwest of Rockfalls. Complete A Friend Like This → Song of the Mountain. At the village, choose the peaceful dialogue options and follow the elder to finish the access sequence; she then offers trade. The Matriarch access route includes the first quest’s Svartrau start.
Finding a character’s house and unlocking that character’s shop are different steps. If the trade option is missing, check the stated quest or daytime condition before assuming the vendor is broken.
Check the manual and item panel before buying
Compare what the vendor sells with your current equipment and skill progression. A manual purchase is useful only for the progression you still need; the skills guide explains learning and spending points, while armor proficiency covers training penalties.
Use the inventory and upgrade costs shown in your save. Check the offered item, required materials and final price before confirming a purchase or upgrade.

Why can I find Vicho but not trade with him yet?
His vendor service opens after the first part of A Study in Crimson. Check that quest’s progress before returning to his shop southwest of Market Tower.
